Amanda Martin

Amanda Martin

Humanities & Fine Arts Teacher

Amanda (Mandy) Martin grew up in a small town in New Mexico, obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from New Mexico State University and her alternative licensure for teaching from Texas Teachers for her EC-6 and English Language Arts and Reading for 7-12.

Amanda previously worked in Early Childhood Education in Ruidoso, New Mexico assisting in the development of rhetoric and comprehension for grades k-5. As well as assisting teachers with Speech Language Pathology for after school students at the Daycare. Amanda worked at various tutoring forums throughout her university studies; including T.E.S.O.L. work (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with foreign students who were acquiring English as a secondary language, as well as tutoring French and German. 

After graduating and having some time traveling abroad, she now calls El Paso home. 

Amanda is our Humanities & Fine Arts Teacher, covering World Culture, Music, and Art for Cherry Hill School.

In Amanda’s free time, she loves yoga, traveling, camping outdoors, boating on lakes with her dogs. As well as exploring various art museums and immersive art experiences throughout the United States.

Amanda is also the Programs Director for our summer program, Camp Chai.
